Still riding through the Pain? Your body is telling you something

This 30-Minute Screening Will Show You Why.

A 30-minute expert-led screening built specifically for cyclists to find out why your body is sore after your ride,

and what to actually do about it.

Appointments are in person at The CHEK Clinic, 2 Lawrence Lane, Eccleston, Lancashire, PR7 5SJ

Cycling shouldn't mean pain

But for so many riders, it does. Low back that aches continually after a ride. Pain that gets worse on longer efforts. Stiffness and discomfort the morning after that continues to linger on through the day. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone, and it's not just part of the sport.

The real problem isn't cycling. It's the imbalances in your body and the ways that your body is compensating for them. If they are not addressed it will significantly decrease cycling performance. Until those are identified, the pain just keeps on coming back, no matter how much you stretch or use a foam roller.

This isn't a generic posture check. It's a whole-body assessment looked at through the lens of cycling.

In just 30 minutes, you'll learn:

  • How your spinal health, muscle imbalances and the position of your pelvis are all affecting your riding posture and your pain

  • Whether your core is actually working correctly to give you the strength and stability when you ride.

  • What lifestyle stressors might be slowing your progress

  • Key areas to focus on next—based on your unique body

This screening is perfect for you if:

  • You're a road, gravel or MTB rider dealing with recurring back pain or tightness

  • You've had a bike fit but the pain is still there

  • You want to keep riding for years without injury holding you back

  • You're ready to understand the root cause, not just manage the symptoms.

Simple. Personal. Powerful.

About Tony:

I've been riding bikes since I was a youngster - tearing up my local bike track on my PK Ripper, then as a teenager my passion turned to track cycling.

It all came to a brutal halt after a life-changing car accident. It landed me in hospital for months, recovering from multiple spinal injuries. So when it comes to cycling and back pain - I get it. But all this didn't dim my passion for sports and the power of the incredible human body.

I discovered the CHEK philosophy and have spent over 20 years studying and applying the knowledge I've learned to improve my clients' lives.

My approach is to treat the body as a whole system, not just where the pain is. The pain you're feeling could be driven by something you've never considered!

Don't ignore what your body has been trying to tell you

This is your chance to get real insight from a trained professional, without stress, confusion or overwhelm.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What's specifically assessed for cyclists?

You'll begin with a diet and lifestyle questionnaire before your appointment. which will give us a clearer picture of how much stress your body is under. At the screen, we assess your posture, spinal alignment, breathing mechanics and how well your core is functioning all interpreted in the context of how you move on the bike. Results are included in your full report.

Do I need to be an experienced rider?

Not at all. Whether you commute, ride recreationally, or train seriously, if cycling is contributing to pain or stiffness this screen is built for you.

How will I get my results?

At the end of the assessment we'll go over initial findings. A few days later you'll receive your full written report by email, and you can then book a free consultation to walk through everything together.

What will I need to wear?

Full instructions will be sent to you, along with venue information by email, after you book.

Does this replace a medical exam?

No. This is a non-medical, non-invasive screen designed to identify chronic dysfunction and imbalances not acute injuries or medical conditions. It complements, rather than replaces, any medical care you're receiving.
